Saturday in the Countryside: Chantilly

One of the things that I absolutely love about living in France is how much there is to see and I feel like I will never be able to see all of it! This weekend I visited Chantilly, a small little town north of Paris (about a 25-minute train ride from Gare du Nord). It is known for its beautiful château but also for the delicious topping known as whipped cream. In French, whipped cream is called chantilly, just like the town. PFW February 2019

This past week has been crazy, and I don’t even know where to begin. If you have been following me for a few years now, you most likely know that I did get invited to last year’s Oxford Fashion Studio shows in Paris. Don’t remember? They are some of my favorite memories from my teenage years. Continue reading “Road Trip: Tips for the Long Car Ride”

Getting Ready To Go State Side

This weekend, I am leaving for the states! This will be my third time visiting since I moved to Paris three years ago. Continue reading “Getting Ready To Go State Side”

2017 For Now

When 2017 started off, I was in a rut. I parted ways with my then host family due to scheduling issues, I had just finished up my first semester at the Sorbonne which was highly stressful and in all honesty, I was pretty worn out by a lot of personal things in my life. Jump ahead a few months, and though I am still struggling some mental battles, there are a lot of things to be grateful for in my life at the moment. Continue reading “2017 For Now”
