Hello 2019: Goals, plans and yikes

Well, here it goes. I have been seeing everyone post their plans for 2019 and wrapping up by saying what was the best part of their 2018 and I had some difficulties coming up with a post summing up my year. It was a very difficult one for me. Continue reading “Hello 2019: Goals, plans and yikes”

Strikes Take Over France

In August, I will officially celebrate my 4th year anniversary with France. By now, you would think I know well the country I have adopted. This year has taught me that I have yet to learn about the French.  Continue reading “Strikes Take Over France”

So after graduating, I did a year of community college, worked two jobs and still did not feel satisfied. It just wasn’t what I wanted to do. So I decided to take a year off and head abroad (honestly, it was only suppose to be a year!). Continue reading “A Decision to Start University at 21”

If We Were Having Coffee (La rentrée est là)

If we were having coffee I would probably make an iced mocha, since the heat can be somewhat unbearable here in France. I would ask what you would like, make your drink and sit down (probably with an assortment of cookies because that’s what my mom taught me to do while having coffee with people. It is a social event). Continue reading “If We Were Having Coffee (La rentrée est là)”
